Kim Victoria Cattrall (born August 21st, 1956) is a British-Canadian actress best known for her role in the role of Samantha Jones in the HBO series Sex and the City for which she received five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominations winning the 2002 Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. She played the same role in the film Sex and the City 2008 as well as Sex and the City 2 Sex and the City 2 in 2010. Her leading role includes Police Academy, Big Trouble from Little China Mannequin, and Porky's from the 80s. Kim Cattrall's character on the HBO TV sitcom Sex & the City is one of the most memorable. Cattrall is an established actor whose role as Samantha Jones in the popular TV show Sex & The City was a turning point in her career. The sitcom not only amplified her appeal to the national viewers, but also helped make an international celebrity, bringing her much fame and recognition. Anita Ekberg...................Anita Ekberg was a Swedish actress who appeared in several European as well as American films. The most famous of her roles was the actress who played La Dolce Vita in the movie comedy drama. The film won an Oscar and a Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival in 1960 and was also a commercial as well as critical hit. Prior to her career as an model, the model from Skane was a fashion model. She went on to win in the Miss Sweden contest. Her move to US after which she started appearing in films playing minor roles. The first time she appeared was in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars in the role of the role of a Venusian. In the following year, her performance in Blood Alley won her the Golden Globe for Most Promising debutante.
